Why choose MEV’s electric power take-off?
1. How does MEV’s electric power take-off reduce operating costs?
MEV’s solution reduces or eliminates the need to keep the vehicle’s engine running solely to power the equipment. For diesel vehicles, this means lower fuel consumption, fewer idling hours and reduced mechanical wear. For electric vehicles, its efficient architecture optimizes equipment operation, improving the use of onboard energy and reducing its impact on driving range compared with less efficient solutions.
2. What sets MEV’s solution apart from other alternatives on the market?
3. What operational efficiency and environmental benefits does the solution provide?
Electrifying the equipment’s drive system improves operational efficiency by reducing noise, vibration and the energy losses associated with idling an internal combustion engine. This increases operational comfort, improves the operator experience and enables work in urban or noise-sensitive areas. It also reduces local emissions and supports fleet decarbonization and modernization goals, particularly in operations with stricter environmental requirements.
4. What support does MEV provide after implementation?
MEV works closely with each customer, from system integration and calibration to on-site technical support. This allows the system to be adjusted to the equipment’s actual operating requirements and ensures that the expected performance is achieved in practice. Local support and direct access to MEV’s engineering team also reduce dependence on overseas suppliers, making implementation safer, faster and more efficient.
5. Which applications is MEV’s electric power take-off designed for?
The solution is designed for vehicles that operate hydraulic equipment or auxiliary systems, including bucket trucks, cranes, centrifugal pumps, compressors, refuse compactors and other specialized equipment. It can be installed on diesel trucks, allowing the equipment to operate while the engine is switched off, as well as on electric trucks, providing a compact and efficient drive solution fully compatible with the vehicle’s architecture.
